I am a big fan of highlighters and let's face it who doesn't love glowy and nice highlighted cheekbones? I know I do. Every girl needs highlighters in their lives, and here are my top rated highlighters. Let's just get right into it! Ohhh and make sure you stay till the end because the last one is for those of you who like glowy silky legs.

In no particular orders, let's start with the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer AKA the Luminizer. 1st of all how cute is this packaging!!! This is a goldeney champangey colour which I think is suitable for all skintones. I guess I can save my breath on this one because I know that everybody and their mama loves it, every beauty guru that I follow talks about it and of course loves it. If you are into subtle highlighters then this is not for you. It's rather intense and opaque, you need the tiniest amount or you will end up looking like a disco ball. That being said, I love this highlighter so much and I use it pretty much everyday by using my Real Techniques Setting Brush, just dust a little on my cheekbones, centre of my forehead under my brow bones, on the bridge of my nose, a little on my cupid's bow and the tiniest amount down my chin. I am wearing it today actually. I got mine from my local makeup store, but you can purchase the Balm highlighter pretty much everywhere and it's affordable so love love love it!

If you don't know already that I love my skincare then you should check out right now. I know what y'all thinkin? Isn't it irrelevant? Well not exactly... This Shimmer Balm by thisworks has skincare ingredients in it. It makes you glow and benefit your skin at the same time. Isn't it wonderful? One of my favourite beauty guru "ICovetThee" had a full blogpost on it and you should definitely check it out if you'd like some detailed info on it. I got mine from thisworks website but I don't seem to find it, maybe sold out I don't know but you can purchase it from Asos if you are interested. I like the fact that it's tiny so I can take it on the go. It's got this nice golden sheen to it, and very hydrating on the skin due to the creamy texture and all the good essential oils. It has no smell so good for sensitive skin. It is in my opinion, gorgeous for the summer time as it gives this glow from within look which I absolutely love!

This Laura Geller Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla is my absolute favourite hands down. I got it off QVC and love it to death. This is for those of you like subtle highlighters. I don't know what the deal is with one but it has 0 shimmer and yet make your cheekbones stand out and glowy. This is definitely one of those "glowing from within" type of highlighters. It's so light in texture and not powdery at all. You should know that Laura Geller baked goodies are hand made from Italy and baked under terracotta pan for 24 hours. Just delightful!

Ok now this is a lipstick by Avon, but I use it as a highlighter, I mean just look at the shade. This is in the colour Bronze and I think it's perfect for highlighting the cheekbones and of course the centre of your lip to give the illusion of a fuller looking lip. This stuff is so multifunctional and that's the main reason why I love it and of course it is just gorgeous as a highlighter. It's perfect when you have a tan, great for summer!

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light is actually an all over face finishing powder, however it is rather shimmery for me to use it all over my face so I use it as a highlighter especially under the eyes. It instantly brightens my under eye area makes me look awake. I also dust it on my forehead and down my chin for a subtle highlight. I had done a blogpost on this powder so check it out if you want to know more. You can purchase it from spacenk cuz that's where I got mine from. It's definitely on the pricer side but it worths every penny in my opinion plus it'll last cuz a little goes a long way with it.

Last but certainly not least is this body highlighter from Benefit called "take a picture it last longer" (how cute) which I think it is essential for all women out there especially for summer. Who doesn't want silky and glowing legs am I right?!!!

This golden pink toned highlighter is designed for body but particularly great on legs. It leaves a gorgeous sheen to your legs and gives the illusion of wearing a pair of tights. It's so creamy and light on your skin, and so easy to apply just use the puff it comes with and apply with a circular motion. Definitely a must have for summer, well all year around really if you want to show off those gorgeous legs.

That's it. Those are my top rated highlighters for face and body. I hope you have enjoyed it and as always tweet me for daily updates and leave me comments on what you want to read next.

Muahhh xxx
Hi guys, I hope you have enjoyed my Favorite Face Brushes posts which I did a couple of days ago and if you haven't seen it I'll link it right . Make sure you check them out if you like brushes.

Today I am going to talk about some of my eye brushes that I absolutely love and hopefully you'll like them too. Let's crack on!

Mac 217:

You can't talk about favorite eye brushes without talking about the Mac 217. You just can't! Because this is hands down the best crease blending brush I have ever used. Everybody should own one. It just blends so well. It Is also a great brush for applying shadows all over the lids. If you think this brush is only good for eye shadows then your are wrong. It's perfect for blending concealers under the eyes as well as applying highlighters on the cheekbone. Can't recommend enough. If you are new to makeup or don't wanna spend tons of money on brushes then this is the one to go. One brush you can do your entire eye look. Yes that's right!

I got my Mac 217 on recommendation of Anna from Viviannadoesmakeup. I think I can save my breath on how amazing and talented she is. I got loads beauty products based on her reviews, so if you fancy reading her blogpost on the Mac 217 then click .

Sephora Rounded Crease 13:

Another favorite brush of mine for blending. It's super soft and blends eye shadows seamlessly. I also use it for applying highlighter on my cheekbone. It's affordable so if you can't afford the Mac 217 then this is the one to go for.

Zoeva Pencil Brush 230:

It's a dupe for Mac 219. A must have in my opinion for applying shadows on the lower lash line. Also great for smudging eyeliners if you are into that kinda look. Doesn't shed and easy to clean.

Sephora Double-ended Eye Shadow Brush:

I like this one for travel. One side is a basic shadow brush and the other side is good for either smudging liners or applying shadows on the lower lash line. Very convenient and also affordable. The only down side is that the shadow end brush sheds, but apart from that, it's all good.

Real Techniques Accent Brush:

It comes in a set of 5 different eye brushes, and this particular one is my favorite. It's good for smudging eyeliners, applying shadows on lower lash lines, and also good for precision spot concealing. Very dense but not scratchy. I use it everyday for smudging my liners. Can't live without it.

First of all look at this packaging guys! JUST LOOK AT IT! Who wouldn't want this on their dressing tables?! That might be one of the reasons why I bought it! Opps!

Seriously, I LOVE this primer. It's one of the best if not THE BEST face primer I have ever used.

(left: with only this primer on middle: with my YSL Youth Liberator foundation on top right: with foundation and Guerlain Meteorites Pearls powder on)

It's light yet moisturizing, it adds radiance and shine on the skin in the most subtle way possible, it absorbs fast, my foundation stays put, and it smells divine. What more does a girl want when it comes to primers?

It comes with a pump which I like. It is a gel that mixed with these rosy pearls and when you pump it, comes out very liquidy. It supposed to diffuse light and diminish imperfections, i.e fine lines, wrinkles and large pore. It dries matte which means a great base before foundation.

The only down side is the price. It costs me 52.90€ from Sephora. I got it when Sephora had 20% off so it's not TOO BAD I guess, but still pricey. That being said this face primer worths every penny in my opinion and I will purchase it again when it runs out. I really wanna try the bronzey shade as well so maybe I'll get that next time. By the way Sephora online is currently out of this one so make sure you pop into the store near you if you want to purchase this primer.

It's very similar compare to the Estée Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator, which I had done a full blogpost on it so click  if you are interested. I honestly prefer the Guerlain one over the Estée Lauder one. Well they are pretty much the same, only the Estée Lauder one has a siliconey feel to it. I like them both but prefer the Guerlain one.

I seriously have nothing bad to say about this primer, I love it. Have I said that already? Well here it goes again, I love it, and I've only had it for like a few days, it's crazy. It's just so luxurious and feels so lovely on the skin. It also has this slight cooling sensation when you apply it on the face. It's all good!

There you have it, hope this helps. I wanna do this review because this is not a cheap product so you better off do some research and see what others have to say about before splurging on it. I really hope this review have helped you in some way and I'll see you next time! XOXO
Hi beauties, happy Thursday! Can't believe this week's almost over! Woow... Way too fast!

Today I want to show you my current everyday face makeup routine/favs. I will show you from base to foundation to powder, blusher the whole shebang. Personally I think it's very interesting seeing other people's makeup routine. It's good to know what we are all doing differently makeup wise! I change my everyday makeup from time to time, that's just how I am. I like trying different makeup products and looks, but this is my current face favs/routine so without further ado let me show them to you. Hope you like!

(Full face makeup products. Eye and lip products will be talked through in Vol.2 blogpost tomorrow)

Base/primer: I use the Guerlain Light Diffusing Perfecting Primer as my base and it is one of the best primers, if not the best hands down in my opinion. It's just so lush! Beautiful packaging! It feels comfortable once applied, it hydrates, it gives the most gorgeous and subtle sheen and it dries matte which makes it perfect under any foundation. I am not gonna get into it too much because I gave the full deets .

Foundation: my current everyday fav foundation is the YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation. Gorgeous packaging, I know I am a sucker for packaging. But it's seriously a pretty darn good foundation. I am so in love. It's smooth and it has a great coverage. I say medium but you can definitely build it up to full coverage. It's very moisturizing yet it feels light on the skin. It has a satin finish, between dewy and matte if you will. Just gorgeous! It lasts pretty good throughout the day and of course smells lovely too! I have the shade in B30 and it's the perfect match for me! Love it love it!

If you want a better version of my words on this foundation click  for Lily Pebbles'. She is one of my favorite beauty bloggers and very talented indeed.

Concealer: I am currently loving the combination of the Benefit Fake Up Concealer in 02 medium and Mally Age Rebel Nourishing Concealer in light. Those 2 together are the perfect match for me both in colour and texture.

The Benefit Fake Up is very hydrating but the colour is a tad too dark, and the Mally Age Rebel is a little dry in texture and the colour is too light so when I combine those 2 together is "perfection". Literally! I have a full blogpost on the Mally concealer so click  for details.

Powder: if you have seen my Sephora Haul from last week then you would've known I bought a new setting powder from Too Faced Cosmetics, it's called Primed and Poreless. I'll link it  if you fancy seeing my Haul post.

I am not gonna make a full separate review on this powder just because I don't have much to say apart from it is a pretty darn good powder to set my foundation with. Seriously it's good stuff. It's super smooth, finely milled, it sets, mattifies, keeps my shine at bay and lasts pretty good throughout the day! Nice and compact, great for touchup on the go. It's translucent so suits every skintone. Couldn't ask for more!

Bronzer/Blusher: my current fav is the NARS Bronzer and Blusher Duo in Laguna/Orgasm. Everybody knows this and everybody loves it! Laguna is a nice slightly shimmery bronzer, and Orgasm is a peachy pink blush which I think everyone can pull them off. I featured this duo both in my Top 5 Fav Blushers and  blogposts so have a look if you are interested in reading more of them.

There you have my current everyday face makeup routine/fav products but don't go too far away because Vol.2 is coming up tomorrow which will be my current everyday eyes and lips makeup routine/favs.

TO BE CONTINUED... ...
Morning beauties!

Today I am going to review the Yes! Nurse Hand Cream which I got from cultbeauty. I'll link my cultbeauty haul blogpost  if you haven't read already!

Let's just all take a moment and have a look at this lovely packaging! Isn't that sweet?! #saveforsomething I think it's rather thoughtful that we can transfer this box into a piggy bank apparently instead of throwing it away. I like the fact that this company thinks about the environment also raising money for the charity. Big thumbs up for that! When open the box it says "super duper special nurses" etc etc. how cute! I can't get over how lovely and thoughtful the packaging is! Well done Yes! Nurse.

The actual hand cream itself is quite lovely. It smells nice, like some sort of herbs and a little nutty as well quite frankly, like hazel nut. Maybe it's just me. But I like it. The consistency is very gel like. A gel cream I should say. Light in texture and very moisturizing once rubbed in. It absorbs fast and feels nice and matte on my hands although it does feel a little tacky at first but it goes away as soon as it sinks into my hands.

Yes! Nurse was created by paediatric nurse Antonia Steven when she constantly found her hands were patchy, dry and cracked so she developed this ultra hydrating hand cream for saving her hands from washing and sanitizing too much when working at the hospital. It contains some really good ingredients like active Manuka Honey, Omega 3,6&9, sweet almond oil etc etc. Have a look at the photo below if you are interested in seeing the ingredients list.

All in all I give a 4 outta 5 for this hand cream. It does the job! It's a lovely moisturizing hand cream and for the price (£5.50 for 50ml/1.7 fl Oz) you just can't go wrong with it. I suggest to get the double pack for a £1 less (£11 for 100ml) if you really like it. End of the day we girls go through hand creams like nobody's business. Am I right?!
Hi beauties, I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I am bring a review to you and if you are a mask junkie like I am then keep reading it!

I had already showed you this mask kit on my "Feelunique Haul". This is basically a sheet mask for both face and eyes. I love sheet masks because they are easy to use, no need to rinse and very good for our skin as they are soaked with serums. My favorite sheet mask has to be the brightening ones from l'occitane but the only place to get them is the on air duty free from certain airlines so I have to find alternatives. I came across this kit from feelunique and I am in love with it!

It contains a face mask and a pair of eye patch for placing under the eyes. It also comes with a coupon of £5 off for the next purchase which is pretty awesome. Now it says "anti wrinkle" and I have to agree with it because I noticed that my expression lines around my mouth are much lighter after the first use. I mean much much lighter. I can barely see them. In addition, I have an obvious line under my right eye which I just hate that is also much lighter. I am really happy about the result. The fact that I can see improvement of my skin even after just one use makes me wanna keep purchasing it.

I actually scared my daughter so note: do it when you are alone. Haha

Like I said before sheet masks are very easy to use and this one is no exception. All you have to do is peel off the plastic sheet on one side and place it on your face. Same goes for the eye mask. Remember don't peel off both plastic sheets as one of them is meant to keep the moisture and all that good ingredients in your skin.

Now you wanna do this when you have time on your hands because you do need to leave them on for at least 30 mins.

I hope you can see that it makes my skin smooth, youthful and plumped.

The difference between this kit and some other sheet masks I have tried before are actually very different as this one is not as wet. It's rather dry but it works wonders for my skin. It does have a strange smell to it but not in a bad way. Kinda like gas but good. Am i making sense? I can't describe it. Not a bad scent I guess I am trying to say!

It says it contains all natural active botanical ingredients and no thickeners or chemicals are added which is really good. However, one thing I don't like about this kit is that it has PARABEN and I tend to avoid using skincare products that have PARABEN in them.

I am really confused. I love this mask kit but the fact that it contains paraben really put me off. Although nobody can really prove that paraben causes cancer but I personally don't like putting that stuff on my face. But that being said this is really an awesome product because it works. It actually works. Ahh! I really need to think it through. To buy or not?! I need help!
