We all like the good old cleansing water by Bioderma because it is simply the best, but let's face it, it's not the cheapest in the market plus it can be quite hard to get hold of in some countries, so today I want to show you a dupe of the Bioderma Cleansing Water thanks to Fleurdeforce. She raves about this product in one of her latest videos and according to her it is as good as Bioderma if not better so I had to try it because I take her words very seriously. Meet: Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water.

I have the 200ml bottle and I believe they do a bigger one as well which contains 400ml. I can tell you right up front that these 2 are basically twins as far as taking off makeup, but I will say that I prefer Bioderma a tad more, wait I have my reasons:
  1. Bioderma has simple ingredients and those are very gentle and natural, but the Sephora one has perfume and some other non-natural ingredients such as BHT which is not so good for our skin in the long run.
  2. The fragrance in the Sephora one is very strong and it kinda lingers as well. It just doesn't smell natural and I really don't like that!
The good thing about the Sephora Cleansing Water is that it is slightly cheaper than Bioderma. It costs 8.50 euros for 200ml and the Bioderma costs around 12 euros for 250ml. Another good thing I notice about the Sephora one is that it feels very moisturising on my skin, kinda like a layer of hydrating toner or something which I really like.

I honestly couldn't tell the difference between these two because they both take off makeup very nicely and neither of them irritates my skin nor my eyes so I definitely recommend both, prefer Bioerma a tad more because it is scentless but if you can't get your hands on Bioderma products then go with the Sephora one because it works the same.

NOTE: neither of them take off waterproof mascaras so make sure to go over with an cleansing oil or a balm.

(Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water)

Not much else to say really, it's all about personal preference. If you are sensitive to scent like me obviously go for the Bioderma Cleansing Water but if you can't get hold of this baby and don't mind the perfumey scent then Sephora Triple Action is the way to go.

That's it guys, short and sweet. They both have pros and cons but end of the day they both work equally well as far as taking off makeup so it's up to you which one you wanna go for.

Have you tried the Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water? How do you like it? @eflicciardello

Hi guys! Time for another review. Let's just start!

This hand cream from Bioderma is a nice little surprise to be honest. I picked it up a week ago because my Yes!Nurse Hand Cream is finished and I thought I give this a try. It costs 5.90 euros for 50ml and I gotta say money well spent... (nodding) Well spent!!

First of all, it comes in a simple and sleek plastic squeeze tube which I really like. It smells really nice like all Bioderma products, kinda like a floral perfume. If scent is something that you cannot tolarant then maybe this is not for you but it is not a strongly scented product I'd say.

The thing I really like about this hand cream is that it comes out very gel like in texture but after spreading it all over my hands it turns into sort of an oil, not oily kind of oil but it feels like I am rubbing a very light dry oil on my hands if that makes sense to you. Very interesting texture I have to say. I've never used anything like this before and I really like it. It feels light, a little tacky at the beginning but once it's absorbed the tackiness goes away. My hands feel very smooth and hydrated even my cuticles are nice and moisturised.

I have nothing bad to say about this hand cream and I can see myself repurchase over and over again. I still like my Yes!Nurse Hand Cream but it's different in terms of texture and how they feel on my hands but I like them both.

(Left: before Right: after. My hand definitely looks more bright and hydrated after)

FYI the Bioderma Repair Hand Cream is paraben free and it is formulated for Dry and Damaged hands. It is hypoallergenic and no harsh chemicals or preservatives were added.

That's it guys. Short and sweet! Have a go with this lovely hand cream and let me know what you think. It is inexpensive and pretty easy to get hold of. This hand cream, in my opinion, is very nice to use in the cooler months because of the " special" texture.

Hi guys happy Thursday! Today I'm gonna be reviewing a body product from Bioderma. It's the Gentle Shower Gel for Dry Sensitive Skin. It is so good and I think it deserves its own blogpost, so here it goes. Hope you like it.

Whenever someone talks about the brand Bioderma I think of the H2O cleansing water as it is the most famous product from Bioderma. I mean everybody and their mother uses it. I happen to like it as well. I was in the pharmacy the other day and I thought why did't I try something else from Bioderma then I saw this shower gel and it was on sale so it ended up coming home with me. My skin on my body is fairly dry and sensitive. It gets itchy for no reason which is another reason why I picked it up.

It is so gentle and smells lovely. It claims to cleanse and soften the skin without any harsh chemicals i.e. Paraben and soap. It also says it's ultra moisturizing, soothing and balancing the skin. It comes out in a clear light blue gel and it foams really nicely. I have been using it for the past week and I do notice that my skin is not itchy anymore. How amazing! I don't know about being moisturizing because I use my body oil afterwards anyway but it does sooth and calm my itchiness that's for sure. If your skin is also sensitive and irritated then give it a go.

I bought the 200ml bottle and it costs around 6 euros which is a bargain. I will continue using it and I think I will repurchase when this one runs out just because it is so soothing and calming. Bioderma products are quite easy to get hold of. They can be found in all major pharmacies.

That's it guys. Short and sweet. I hope you like today's post and please let me know what you want me to review next and I'll try my best to do it. As always please follow me on twitter and instagram for daily updates. Thank you for reading and I shall see you all on Saturday! Bye! Muahh!

Here we go beauties another sample review hope you like it. Hey I didn't ramble today, straight into the topic, that's a first! Lol!

I have finished both of these and I can honestly tell you that the Bioderma Corrective Care for Enlarged Pores is a miss for me because it is so drying on my skin. My skin feels extremely uncomfortable after using it. It's like a pore minimizing primer type of thingy as it feels kinda siliconey. It might work for extremely oily skin types but definitely not for someone who has normal or dry skin, not even on slight oily skins I would say because it is that drying. It smells lovely though and that's about it. I will not purchase the full size that's for sure!

(Too matte, too drying for me)

However the Clarins Extra-Firming Day Cream is rather lovely. I had a full size of this years ago and I loved it. I mean Clarins products rarely disappoint me. They just seem to bring it when it comes to skincare products. It's very rich and creamy, extremely hydrating and nourishing. It's targeted for women who are over 30 but again I think everyone can use it over the age of 25.

Now it says it's for all skin types but I personally don't think it would be suitable for oily skins because of the richness of the cream. It might make you oily throughout the day but for normal to dry skin you need to get yourselves a tub of this. The only downside is no SPF but I can layer my SPF over it, no big deal. It smells really nice like all Clarins products do.

Now comes to the good stuff. I leave the best till the last. This Abeille Royale Day Cream (normal to combo skin) by Guerlain is so lush. I had 3 little bags of this and it is heaven. O...M...G seriously it is so gorgeous. It's rich yet light on the skin. It's very nourishing and I do feel my skin looks very healthy, plumped and youthful after using this. It is incredible. I just fell head over heels with this stuff BUT it is so expensive. It costs €70.90 for 30ml (1fl Oz) and €106.90 for 50ml (1.7 fl Oz). I don't think I will buy it now as it is so ridiculously pricy but it is definitely on my Christmas shopping list. It would make a lovely Christmas present don't you think?!

There you have it guys. I hope you've enjoyed my Sample Reviews so far. Another of these will be up on EBR (Elaine's Beauty Reviews) next week so stay tuned for that. Thank you so much for your time and see you all on Saturday! Muahh!
