Hello lovelies, time to show some love for eyeliners. Today I want to show you some of the eyeliners that I have used in the past including drug store and high-end, and compare them since my last "showdown" blogpost had a great feedback, so here it goes...
(Disclaimer: these are just part of my eyeliner collection. I do have some other ones that are only available in Italy so it wouldn't be fair to show them to you. Also I'll do a separate blogpost on liquid eyeliners so stay tuned for that. This one is just about the pencil eyeliners.)
Avon Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliners. I have 2 shades here to show you. One is in Brown Glow and the other one is in Golden Diamond.

They are, like the name suggested, very glittery and shimmery especially Golden Diamond, which in my opinion are great for holiday seasons and out in the town at night. They can be used as eyeshadow base as well, and I find they don't budge that way. The Golden Diamond is great for inner corner highlight, just really brighten up the eyes extremely gorgeous in the evening. They go on pretty smooth, nice colour pay-off, but just be careful because they tend to break as they are pretty soft. I really like that they come in twist-up form so I don't have to sharpen them. I do like them and for the price, you just can't go wrong.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner. I have the shade in Bronze. This is hands down the best in the bunch. It goes on so smoothly, never tugs my eyelids, great pigmentation, and it stays on till I decide to take it off. Great eyeliner indeed. I have also been using it as an eyeshadow because the colour is so pretty. It is a bronzy shade obviously but filled with gold sparkles. It retails for $19 but it's on sale at the moment for only $9 so hop to it guys!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal. I own 004 Taupe and 005 Nude. I mainly use them on my waterlines and I find them to be pretty long lasting, especially the Nude shade. The Nude one is a great skin tone colour for cancel any redness on the lower waterlines, it just really neutralise the eyes and make me look awake. It is matte, and goes on smoothly.

Taupe however has some iridescence to it but very subtle. The colour itself is gorgeous and I sometimes even use it as an eyeshadow or a base for any neutral eyeshadows I might use over it. Rimmel Scandaleyes line is really amazing and they are for sure the best drug store eyeliners I've ever used.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, and I have the colour in Perversion which is the blackest black that you can get in the market in my opinion. I have featured this eyeliner in my October Favourites so click here if you wanna know more, but basically this is my favourite eyeliner to use when I want to go for a smokey effect on my eyes. I don't like as an eyeliner because it smudges on me real bad but once I blend it out then it has no problem as far as staying on for the whole day.

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil and I have the shade in 15 Bling Bling which is this gorgeous golden bronzy shade that contains zero glitters so don't be mistaken by the name. Because this colour is so gorgeous and wearable, I sometimes use it as an eyeshadow base. I don't use it on its own as an eyeshadow though because it does crease on me but as a base is pretty awesome. I also use it on my waterlines if I'm doing a bronzed eye look. It glides on pretty smoothly, really cheap and I believe Essence does some other awesome fun colours.

Verdict: They are all pretty good but the Tarte one is by far the best, in all aspects, so if you wanna splurge then I say go ahead and get the Tarte one, but if you are on a budget then Rimmel is the way to go. Hope this is helpful and if you do have some other questions regarding eyeliners then feel free to contact me on twitter/instagram @eflicciardello. Until next time... ...

Hello my beautiful makeup junkies. How are you? Today I want to give you my thoughts on the they're Real Push-Up Liner by Benefit. It's a pretty hyped up product I should say, some people swear by it and some just don't care for it at all, and I, however, have a mixed opinion on this product so without further ado let's start!

I got the miniature version AKA deluxe sample from Sephora and I couldn't be happier because I have been wanting to try for the longest time and now I can say that I love it and hate it at the same time. Is that weird? I seriously have a love-and-hate relationship with this thing and I'll tell you why...

I don't know if you ever noticed from my Instagram photos that I never wear black eyeliner because all black eyeliners smudge or transfer around my eyes. It's just not pretty. It doesn't matter if it's liquid or gel or pencil eyeliners as long as it's black I can't do it. But with this one it's a completely different story. It never smudges nor transfers to my lower lash lines which is the main reason why I love it. It lasts all day with a primer underneath of course otherwise I will end up looking like a panda after about an hour but feel free to use it on its own if you don't have oily eye lids. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the "non-smudgey" part because now I can wear black liner again!!!

By the way I really like the angled rubber tip it makes winged application so much easier! All you have to do is twist the end part and the product comes out then apply it away... FYI put back the little orange "stopper"on the tip after using it otherwise the product will dry out quickly. I should also mention that since it is waterproof you do need an oil based makeup remover to get rid of it.

Did I mention I hate this eyeliner as well? Well here it goes the reason. This stuff crumbles... I hope I am making sense here. This is in such a thick formula so after a few strokes it starts to crumble and separate into bits and I can actually peel them off which is the strangest thing in the world. I find myself constantly reapplying this eyeliner and quite frankly I just can't deal with it. Does anybody else has the same experience with this eyeliner or it's just me?... Let me know in the comments down below. This is so bizarre!

(freshly applied)

I don't know if I should keep using it. I like how it looks when it;s freshly applied but after a little while it cracks and separates into bits like I mentioned above and it's just not a pretty look.

That's it guys. These are my thoughts on the Benefit they're Real Push-Up Liner. Not much else to say really these are just exactly how I think and feel about this product. I hope you like the review and let me know what you wanna see next and until next time, stay fabulous beauties! Muahh!

Hi guys. Happy Tuesday! Today I'm gonna be reviewing the KIKO Tropical Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade 03 which is from the summer 2014 collection so hope you like it!

I have been wearing this eyeliner non stop since I bought it like a week ago. It is so gorgeous! I'm obsessed, can't get enough of it. Just hear me out:

1. I like the fact that it is waterproof. Now when I say waterproof I mean waterproof. Bioderma will not take off this baby. You need an oil based eye makeup remover. Seriously it is a pain in the neck to get it off. It lasts all day till you decide to wash it off. It doesn't smudge nor transfer. Great stuff.

2. The colour is so vibrant and pretty. It is true to the tube. I love this turquoise colour for the summer. It looks absolutely stunning on the eyes. It just gives a nice pop of colour for when you don't wanna do too much on the eyes but still wanna look nice and polished.

3. The tip is so fine and it allows you to do a thin line and of course a flick if you wish. It's so easy to use and I think everybody can master it.

4. It's such a small tube so it would be perfect to take it on holiday with you.

5. There are a lot of other beautiful colours to choose from.

6. It is affordable.

So what's there not to like! This is definitely one of the best makeup items that I discovered this year. I say go to your KIKO counter and grab one before it's gone as it is limited edition. You won't regret it!

That's it guys. Short and sweet! I hope you like the review and please do give it go on this lovely eyeliner. Let me know how you get on and as always follow me on twitter, Instagram @eflicciardello as well as my blog by hitting the "following" button below my headshot on this page.
