I'm never a mascara kinda gal not because I don't like them, I mean who doesn't want long thick and curled lashes right?! It's just that my lashes are short, straight and very hard. They are very difficult to manage and just a pain in the neck to deal with, so I normally skip "the mascara step" when I do my makeup.

I have been on a hunt for the perfect mascara for ages. The sort of  mascara I'm looking for is to hold the curl after using my curler. This is the most important thing for me. I have found some good mascaras in the past that are really good in terms of thickening and lengthening my lashes but never found anything that can hold the curl all day not even for a couple of hours. Very frustrating I'll tell ya. (I hate my lashes!) But all of my "hard work" has finally paid off as I think I just found "the one". Meet: False Lash Architect 4D Waterproof by L'OREAL. This is by far the best mascara I have ever tried. It meets all my requirements for a mascara and I couldn't be happier!

(The wand is kinda long and thin, not one of those rubber plastic ones which it's cool)

This mascara not only thickens and lengthens my lashes but also really holds the curl which is why I like it so much. I wouldn't say that it holds my lash curl all day but a good half day is not a problem with this mascara. I can't complain really because it is already pretty amazing. You wouldn't believe what kind of lashes I have. Stubborn as hell. Really really difficult to curl them and keep the curl in place. Sigh!

This mascara is seriously good stuff. It just coats my lashes beautifully and never clumps up. (I normally do 2 coats) Let me put it this way. If it's good enough for me then it will definitely work for you unless you have even more stubborn lashes which is just really unfortunate. Can't imagine someone who has more stubborn lashes than mine. Also I like sort of thick formulas when it comes to mascaras. I hate wet, runny ones. So if you are like me then you'll like this one.

If I have to, have to pick a con... This mascara is pretty hard to get off. You need a good oil based eye makeup remover for this. Trust me Bioderma doesn't cut it. I normally do a double cleanse when I have this mascara on. For me it's all worth it end of the day because it holds my lash curl well. If you have really straight and hard lashes then you would've understand my pain. I suggest you to give this baby a try you won't be disappointed!

Since we are talking about mascaras then I will give you a mini review on this MUFE Smoky Extravagant Mascara which I got as a sample on one of my Sephora orders

Well I don't like it just because it doesn't do anything to hold my lash curl. It does make my lashes long but that's about it. The formula is rather thick and very dry to the point that I feel like there's nothing in the tube. I do like the wand though as the thin end really does get in the corner and coats every single lash I have. Wouldn't recommend it but again my lashes are difficult to manage, but I do have heard a lot of girls really like it so don't quote me on that!

That's it guys. Really hope that this is helpful and if your lashes are similar to mine then I do suggest to try the L'OREAL False Lash Architect Mascara but in the waterproof version. Oh by the way I now write for Student Fashion and my blogposts are up on Friday usually every two weeks and there should one this Friday so keep an eye on that. For not missing out on anything please follow me on twitter and Instagram

Now I'm the kinda gal would choose concealers over foundations. I would be happy with just concealers because they can be used for concealing of course and also as foundations. Double duties! Love that!

Summer is way too hot here in Sicily so I tend to stick with just concealers because they are light in texture and high in coverage. Foundations are just too "thick" for my like in the summer time. I'm going to show you 4 of my favorite concealers today so let's get started!

First up is a combo that I have been loving. They are the FakeUp (medium) from Benefit and Mally's Age Rebel (light). Those two together are perfection. I have been using these 2 together as my foundation for the past 2 weeks and they are great. They cover up everything without being thick which is exactly what I need for a hot humid summer.

Next up is an oldie but a goodie. It's the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer (01 light). You probably have seen me talking about this beauty in numerous posts in the past ( is one) as well as on Instagram because it is that good. It covers. It's light. It's great for using under the eyes. Yes it's on the pricier side but I've had this for more than 2 years. A little goes a long way. It's definitely worth the price.

Last but not least is a newbie to my concealer family. I got it from feelunique a month ago. I'll link the haul  if you fancy seeing what else I got. Anyway it's the La Touché Magique Perfect Match Highlighting Concealer by L'OREAL (Ivory Beige). I bought this because my YSL touché éclat is finished, and I want to search for a "dupe" for my beloved YSL. I'm glad I got this because it is very similar to the Touché Éclat. It is light. It conceals my dark circles as well. The most I like about this concealer/highlighter pen is that it is yellow based so it really brightens my under eye area. This stuff is also great for highlighting the high points of my face if I want a more contoured/highlighted effect.

All right beauties. Those 4 concealers are my favs and I don't think I will stop from here. Next on my list is the Bye Bye Under Eye from It Cosmetics which I have heard so many great things about. Will definitely report back once I get my paws on it. Until next time stay gold beauties! Muahh!

Hi guys, happy Saturday! If you follow me on  then you would've already seen that I posted some photos of the L'OREAL Polishes I've picked up recently! I'm not a huge fan on nails but there's just something about these polishes that make me wanna paint my nails all the time, and I can say that these L'OREAL polishes are probably the best that I have ever tried! Big statement ehh?! Well it's true!

 Infaillible Gel

Color Riche

Left: Pistachio Drage Right: Nouvelle Vague

I bought the newly-ish released Infaillible Gel polish in Fuchsia For Life a couple of weeks ago and since then I've picked up another 2 of the Color Riche polishes in Pistachio Drage and Nouvelle Vague. I love them so much and I haven't been able to stop wearing them ever since I got them because:

1. They go on so smoothly.

2. I love the big fat brush that it comes with, just a couple of swipes then I'm done. Easy breezy.

Infaillible Gel in fuchsia For Life

3. The gel formula is insanely pigmented so all I need is one coat. I'm super happy about that because I'm so lazy when it comes to paint my nails. If I can get my nails look opaque in one coat I'm onboard.

Natural day light

Artificial light

4. I normally can't be bothered to buff my nails and this gel top coat kinda does it all for me. It makes my nail surface look nice, clean, even and smooth. I'm digging it!

5. These L'OREAL polishes look so shiny and pretty on my nails. They makes me wanna stare at them all the time.

After 7 days, no chipping

6. They don't chip whatsoever which is just awesome!

7. They are affordable.

All in all I can't say enough good things about these polishes and I would definitely get more. If you haven't tried any Infaillible Gel and Color Riche vanishes by L'OREAL then hop to it because they are pretty awesome! I highly recommend!

Hi guys happy Tuesday! Wow can't believe it's already September. Summer's almost over. It's crazy how time flies! Well I'm actually glad because one, I prefer autumn for many reasons, two I have a lot of exciting blogposts planned for this month so hopefully you would like them. For the first blogpost of September I want to bring you a review of the L'OREAL Revitalift Laser 3 Serum which I think would be perfect to use in autumn days so let's get right into it!

I have never tried any skincare products from L'OREAL before and to be honest I don't know why I picked this up. It was a total impulse buy. I guess I just wanted to "explore". This serum is targeted for women who are over 40 but like I always say it's better to protect than fix it later plus no skincare products would ever wipe away wrinkles 100% it's no Botox let's face it so any women who are over 25 can use anti aging products just for delaying the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Anyway allow me get straight into the pros and cons.

You see those tiny shimmers?!

(Rubbed in). Left: under direct sunlight Right: not under direct sunlight but both look glowy.

Pros:
1. It is inexpensive. It costs €19 (30ml) from my local supermarket.
2. The texture is really nice. It is light but feels very moisturizing on my skin.
3. It has some shimmery particles in it so my skin looks glowing after using it.
4. Nice pleasant scent.
5.  It comes with a pump.
6. Like the semi transparent bottle so I know how much product is still left.
7. My skin looks healthy, smooth, even and plumped.
8. It sits nicely under my foundation, kind of like an illuminating primer if you will.

Cons:
1. The flowery scent is pretty nice but it is rather strong so it might annoy some of you who are sensitive to scent.
2. It claims to reduce the appearance of pores but I don't notice anything different in terms of the size my pores and I have been using it for the past 2 weeks. I mean I don't really have large large pores but still I can see them sometimes, maybe I just need to use it for a bit longer but so far I don't notice any difference.
3. It also says that it would reduce wrinkles. Well I don't have wrinkles yet but I do have a rather deep expression line near my mouth and I didn't see any "disappearance" of my expression line to be quite honest with you.
4. It doesn't contain paraben but it does have some other "unnatural" ingredients such as alcohol, perfume and some other chemicals. Definitely not for someone who likes to use natural products.

Would I repurchase? NO. But that being said I do enjoy using it just because the texture is really lovely. I actually only use this in the morning and this alone gives me enough moisture I need throughout the day but I might need to layer it with my moisturizer when the weather gets cooler.

So there you have it. I hope you like the way I review product. I mean I don't like to put down what the web or bottle says I just like to share my own thoughts so hopefully that's what you'd like to see. As always if you have any requests or questions please leave them down below or tweet me @eflicciardello if you prefer. Until next time. Bye! Muahh!
